Solar Project Synced at Kalher Sub-Station

It is expected to help cut carbon emissions, raise green power generation and expand renewable energy capacity in the state.

Hyderabad:The state government has successfully synchronised a 2 MW solar power project set up under the PM‑KUSUM scheme at the 33/11 KV Kalher sub‑station in Sangareddy district.

Officials said the project will promote environment‑friendly and clean energy sources. It is expected to help cut carbon emissions, raise green power generation and expand renewable energy capacity in the state.

TGSPDCL carried out the work under the direct supervision of its CMD Jitesh V. Patil and Energy Secretary Naveen Mittal. Superintending Engineer (Operations), Sangareddy, Divisional Engineer (Operations), Jogipet, Divisional Engineer (M&P) and related technical teams coordinated and supervised the work to completion.

In line with Telangana’s green energy programmes, TGSPDCL said it remains committed to developing the renewable energy sector and will continue steps to connect more solar power projects in future.
