Even now, we cannot afford private college fees,” he said. He added that he performed well in JEE Advanced and is confident of getting a seat in a good college.

B. Vamshi Krishna Yadav, who hails from an agricultural family, said he faced financial difficulties since childhood but always wanted to serve people and therefore chose the science stream.

Yashwanth Ch, who secured Rank 3,000 and belongs to a remote village in Warangal district, said he wants to study Machine Learning in a top institution and settle well with a good pay package.

Mahesh N. said he is a first-generation learner and found Eapcet easy because of his preparation for JEE. He added that Artificial Intelligence tools helped him clarify doubts during preparation.

Jashwant U, who hails from a remote area in Khammam district, said his family could not afford private colleges and so he studied in government institutions. He said his priority is getting into an IIT, and if not, he would join JNTU Hyderabad or CBIT.

In the Engineering stream, a total of 1,428 students appeared, of whom 1,123 qualified. In the A&P stream exam 1,326 students appeared and 1,041 qualified.
