SIT Notice to KCR Poll Stunt, Says DK Aruna
She asserted that the Congress was repeating the wrongdoings of the earlier BRS government and that there was no difference between the two parties.
BJP vice-president and Mahbubnagar leader D.K. Aruna alleged that the SIT notices summoning former chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for questioning in the phone-tapping case were merely an election stunt. She claimed that the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government had made it a practice to raise issues ahead of elections to mislead the people.
In a statement, Aruna said that the Congress and BRS had been engaging in “understanding politics.” She pointed out that even after reports were submitted on the Formula E race and the Kaleshwaram scam, no action had been taken against the guilty.
She further alleged that Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy has been campaigning for the Congress in the municipal elections, although Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar had ruled that he was still in the BRS. “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy must recall what they said about defections,” Aruna remarked. She asserted that the Congress was repeating the wrongdoings of the earlier BRS government and that there was no difference between the two parties.
