SIT Links Dubai Overdose Victim Kedar to Moinabad Drug Case

Police sources said the case transactions are being examined further

HYDERABAD: The Special Investigation Team probing the Moinabad farmhouse drug and firing case has surfaced the name of Kedar, who died in Dubai last year due to a drug overdose, in connection with high-value financial transactions involving Pilot Rohit Reddy.

Police said Rohit Reddy, his brother Ritesh Reddy, and Namith Sharma, who allegedly opened three rounds of fire in the air during a police raid at Rohit’s farmhouse in Moinabad, had close links with Kedar.

Investigators disclosed that financial records revealed multiple transactions between Rohit Reddy and Kedar. The SIT reportedly gathered evidence that several individuals repeatedly transferred money to organisers of drug parties as part of the network under scrutiny.

A transaction of Rs 25 lakh from Ritesh Reddy’s bank account to Kedar was identified during the probe. Police sources said the case transactions are being examined further.
