ADILABAD: A POCSO court in Sircilla sentenced Bandapalli Naveen of Sriramulapalli village to 20 years in jail for sexually assaulting a minor girl and life imprisonment for her murder, sources said on Wednesday.

Magistrate Radhika Jaiswal also imposed a fine of Rs 7,000 in the sexual assault case and Rs 5,000 in the murder case.

Naveen was accused of sexually assaulting and murdering the minor girl, who was from Mudapalli village in Chandurthi mandal.
