SIR Drive Enters Voter Mapping Phase in Adilabad
Enumeration forms are being digitised in Adilabad and Boath, with duplicates flagged

Adilabad: Booth-level officers (BLOs) have shifted focus to voter mapping under the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls following near completion of distribution of enumeration forms.
Officials said digitalisation of enumeration forms has picked up in Adilabad and Boath Assembly constituencies, with BLOs verifying anomalies, deaths, and shifting of voters by cross-checking details with the 2002 electoral rolls.
BLOs are scrutinising enumeration forms, mapping voter details with earlier records and verifying family linkages, including polling station, Assembly constituency, district and parental details where applicable.
The exercise also involves identifying duplicate entries and removing names of deceased voters or those enrolled in multiple locations. Officials said BLOs were uploading voter data collected through enumeration forms as part of the digitalisation process, while maintaining records of discrepancies.
Collectors have set a target of filling 100 enumeration forms per day for each BLO and emphasised timely digitalisation of the data.
In Adilabad Assembly constituency, enumeration forms have been distributed to all 2,50,393 electors, with 80,496 forms digitised so far, accounting for 32.15 per cent. Digitalisation is higher in Jainad (53.80 per cent), Sathanala (49.03 per cent) and Bela (46.65 per cent) mandals.
In Boath Assembly constituency, out of 2,16,391 electors, 1,20,858 forms have been digitised, accounting for 55.85 per cent. Sirikonda (69.23 per cent), Bheempur (68.15 per cent) and Sonala (64.22 per cent) mandals have recorded higher progress.
Adilabad Collector Rajarshi Shah inspected the voter mapping process at Kolhari Gram Panchayat and directed BLOs to complete the exercise within the stipulated timeframe.
