SIR: BJP Urges CEO To Conduct Probe Into Allegations
Party’s State Election Commission Affairs committee chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy alleged some BLOs have uploaded the reverse side of the Enumeration Form to the official BLO mobile application without filling in any mandatory voter details on the front side in Vivekananda Nagar division’s 575 to 580 booths.
Hyderabad: The BJP on Wednesday alleged fraudulent and unauthorised digitalisation of Blank Enumeration Forms by BLO in Serilingampally Assembly constituency. The party leaders urged chief electoral officer C. Sudarshan Reddy to conduct a random probe in various booths of the constituency.
Party’s State Election Commission Affairs committee chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy alleged some BLOs have uploaded the reverse side of the Enumeration Form to the official BLO mobile application without filling in any mandatory voter details on the front side in Vivekananda Nagar division’s 575 to 580 booths. “To fraudulently inflate completion metrics, the blank back side of the enumeration forms was scanned and uploaded into the application. When confronted, the concerned BLOs openly admitted to this malpractice, defending their actions by citing immense pressure from higher-ups,” he explained.
