SIO Telangana Holds Solidarity Meet Against Police Brutality on Protesters in Delhi
SIO Telangana held a solidarity protest at Charminar, condemning police action against protesters in Delhi and demanding reforms in the national examination system.

Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Telangana on Friday condemned police action against protesters in Delhi and expressed solidarity with students.
A large number of students and youth participated in the protest organised at Charminar, calling for justice, accountability and protection of democratic rights. Police deployed heavy security from noon, with personnel carrying lathis and vehicles stationed to detain protesters. The gathering, however, was allowed to continue till 1.45 am.
Addressing the gathering, SIO Telangana president Mohd Faraz Ahmed said, "The repeated failures, alleged corruption, paper leaks, and administrative negligence associated with national-level examinations have severely undermined the trust of students and parents across the country."
"The future of lakhs of students cannot be compromised due to a flawed examination system," he explained, and stated that "democratic voices must be heard rather than suppressed."
The organisation demanded the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, scrapping of the National Testing Agency, action against those responsible for examination irregularities and paper leaks, and the establishment of a transparent and accountable examination system. It also called for protection of the right to peaceful protest and an end to action against demonstrators.
