SHG Wins Accolades for Excellent Upkeep of Park in Chikalanagar

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy on Thursday inspected Bank Colony Park in Uppal’s Chikalanagar ward, which is being maintained by a Self-Help Group (SHG).
Appreciating the excellent upkeep of the park, the Commissioner commended the SHG for its dedicated efforts and encouraged them to continue maintaining the park to the same high standards.
The Commissioner stated that SHGs demonstrating consistent and quality maintenance will be considered for the management of additional parks across the Corporation.
To further enhance urban greenery, the Commissioner directed officials to accelerate plantation activities and the distribution of home shed plants across the Circle by actively involving Colony Welfare Associations and local residents, fostering greater community participation in creating a greener and healthier Malkajgiri.
