Sheraton Appoints Sourav Pal Chowdhury as Assistant Director of F&B
Hospitality veteran with 16+ years of experience to lead strategic F&B operations at the hotel

Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel has announced the appointment of Sourav Pal Chowdhury as its new Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. With over 16 years of extensive experience in the hospitality sector, Chowdhury is set to lead the hotel’s F&B operations with a focus on enhancing guest experiences and service excellence.

In his new role, Chowdhury will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage division, including its restaurants, banquets, outdoor catering (ODC), in-room dining, and Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels (MBOW) services. His mandate includes driving innovation in culinary offerings and aligning service standards with Sheraton’s global brand ethos.
Prior to joining Sheraton Hyderabad, Chowdhury held leadership roles across reputed hospitality brands such as Conrad Bengaluru, Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks, Marriott Hotels in Kochi and Jaipur, Novotel & Ibis Bengaluru, and Hyatt Hotels. He also brings valuable cross-industry experience from Cinepolis India Pvt. Ltd., where he managed food and cinema operations for a 10-screen multiplex in Bengaluru.
An alumnus of Annamalai University with a degree in Hotel Management and Tourism, Chowdhury is known for his team leadership, customer-centric approach, and flair for innovative dining concepts. His previous involvement in pre-opening teams and specialty dining ventures is expected to further strengthen Sheraton Hyderabad’s food and beverage landscape.
