Hyderabad:The Future City police commissionerate on Thursday transferred three inspectors on administrative grounds, including the posting of a new station house officer (SHO) at Shabad where the mass murder of six persons, and the suicide of the Pocso Act-accused perpetrator, had triggered public outrage.

The transfer order, issued by Future City police commissioner Tarun Joshi, appointed D.K. Laxmi Reddy as the Shahabad SHO. The post had fallen vacant after inspector Kantha Reddy was transferred following departmental action in connection with the handling of the murder case.
