SFI Backs PDF Candidate Kolli Satyanarayana For Graduates’ MLC Election
SFI Telangana unanimously extends support to the senior advocate, citing his association with student movements and public issues.
The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) Telangana committee has extended its support to senior advocate Kolli Satyanarayana, Progressive Democratic Front (PDF) candidate for the Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda Graduates’ MLC constituency. The decision was taken unanimously at the committee meeting held under the chairmanship of state president S. Rajikanth. SFI state secretary T. Nagaraju said Satyanarayana had been active in student movements during his college days, when he worked with the SFI at SR and BGNR College in Khammam. He later practised as a lawyer in Khammam and continued to raise issues affecting the public.
Describing him as a candidate with a broad understanding of the concerns of students, youth, employees, workers and different social groups, Nagaraju said his presence in the Legislative Council would help raise issues affecting unemployed people, employees, students, teachers and intellectuals. “Legislatures need leaders who understand people’s problems, raise them in the House and work towards finding solutions,” Nagaraju said.
