Seven Taken Into Custody in Minor Girl Assault Case in Siddipet
The accused are natives of Cheriyal and Dhoolmitta. On Thursday, police took all seven accused into custody in connection with the case.
Siddipet: A POCSO case has been registered against seven persons in connection with the alleged gang rape of a 15-year-old girl in Dhoolmitta mandal of Siddipet district. Three of the accused were reportedly minors.
According to the police, the incident took place on Dasara when the girl's parents had gone to their agricultural fields. The seven accused allegedly took the girl to a village against her will. She was dropped near her village the following day.
After returning home, the girl narrated the incident to her parents. Subsequently, her father lodged a complaint with the police.

A case has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and further investigation is underway.
