Sevalal Sena Seeks Cabinet Berth For Tribal MLA

Speaking at a meeting of Sevalal Sena held at Tejulapally in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district, Naik said that the Lambadi community had supported the Congress in the 2023 Legislative Assembly elections.

Kothagudem: Sevalal Sena founder president Dharavath Premchandra Naik on Monday urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to include a tribal MLA in his Cabinet.

Speaking at a meeting of Sevalal Sena held at Tejulapally in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district, Naik said that the Lambadi community had supported the Congress in the 2023 Legislative Assembly elections. However, after coming to power, the Congress government has allegedly shown negligence in providing political opportunities to tribals, he claimed.

He pointed out that the Lambada population exceeds 30 lakh in the state, yet their representation remains unaddressed. He accused the Congress of treating the Lambada community as a mere vote bank and ignoring them after assuming office.

Naik also called on the Congress to fulfil the promises it made to tribals in its election manifesto. He warned that the Sevalal Sena would intensify its agitation if the Chief Minister fails to respond positively to their demand.
