Scattered Thunderstorms Likely Across Telangana From Afternoon

Hyderabad: Telangana is likely to experience humid weather, followed by fresh scattered thunderstorms from the afternoon hours.
Several districts, including Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Yadadri-Bhongir, Medak, Siddipet, Jangaon, Kamareddy, Hanamkonda, Warangal and Mahabubabad, may witness scattered thunderstorms from the afternoon, with the activity likely to continue into the night.
Several parts of Telangana, including Rangareddy, Suryapet, Khammam, Yadadri-Bhongir, Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Mahabubabad, are currently witnessing scattered moderate rains. The rainfall activity is likely to reduce after 8:30–9 am.
Another round of scattered thunderstorms is expected in districts such as Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, Narayanpet, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Mahabubabad during the overnight hours. The activity may continue into the following morning.
Isolated rainfall is likely in the remaining parts of Telangana.
Hyderabad may also witness scattered thunderstorms from the afternoon through the night.
Meanwhile, intense rain activity was reported in parts of Yadadri-Bhongir, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Khammam and Jangaon (Kodakandla), along with a few other districts, till 7 am.
