Elite squads have been deployed on 20 critical night trains and 16 sensitive flashpoints. With the help of the technology, the squads arrested 78 criminals, 3000 trespassers were stopped from unauthorised entries and handed over to the GRP, Naveen Kumar.
Hyderabad: Railway Protection Force (RPF) of the Secunderabad division under ‘Operation Yatri Suraksha’ has has come up with 700+ advanced cameras, which include 500 CCTVs, 100 solar cameras, and 15 body-worn units for tracking in real-time, drones and Segways sweeping stations for a rapid response to unexpected incidents as well as ensuring the safety and security of passengers, Alakunta Naveen Kumar, IRPFS senior divisional security commissioner of the Secunderabad RPF, said, on Tuesday.
