SCSC Marks 20 Years of Police-Industry-Community Partnership
Four panel discussions were held on contemporary safety and community issues.

Hyderabad:The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) on Saturday marked two decades of police-industry-community partnership aimed at strengthening safety, security and growth in the city’s tech zone. SCSC was formally established on August 23, 2006, to bring the police, industry and community onto a common platform to address the emerging security needs of the rapidly developing IT corridor.
A commemorative event in Hitec City was attended by senior police officials, government representatives, industry leaders, security experts, healthcare professionals, media representatives and community stakeholders. Speaking at the event, Cyberabad police commissioner Dr M. Ramesh said, "Safety and security of IT professionals and the wider IT community remain a priority for the police." He appreciated SCSC's continued support and recalled its role during challenging periods, including the Telangana statehood movement and the Covid-19 pandemic.
The anniversary also saw the unveiling of the ‘SCSC@20’ logo and launch of the commemorative book ‘Enabling Enterprise – 2 Decades of SCSC’. Former SCSC secretary general Dr Krishna Yedula recalled the organisation's early years and said consultations between police and industry over security concerns and standard operating procedures had laid the foundation for the society.
