SCR Regularises Three Weekly Express Trains Between Hyderabad Region and Belagavi
The Secunderabad–Belagavi weekly express will commence operations from Monday next.

Hyderabad: The Railway Board has approved the regularisation of three weekly special train services operated by the South Central Railway between Telangana and Karnataka. The will convert the special trains 07335/07336 into scheduled weekly express services. These services will improve connectivity between the Hyderabad–Secunderabad region and Belagavi, covering key commercial, transit, and pilgrimage centres.
The three services include weekly express trains from Hyderabad, Charlapalli, and Secunderabad to Belagavi, each operating on designated days with return services on the following day or week cycle.
Train 17072, the Hyderabad–Belagavi weekly express, will begin operations on Friday, leaving Belagavi at 1 pm and arriving in Hyderabad at 7 am the next day. The return service (Train 17071) will commence on May 21, leaving Hyderabad at 4.30 pm on Thursdays and reaching Belagavi at 10.30 am the nenxt day.
Train 17075 Charlapalli–Belagavi weekly express will leave the city at 4 pm on Saturdays and reach Belagavi at 10.30 am the following day. The return service (Train 17076) will begin on May 17, departing Belagavi at 1 pm and arriving at Charlapalli at 8.45 am the next day.
The Secunderabad–Belagavi weekly express will commence operations from Monday next. Train 17073 will depart Secunderabad at 4.30 pm every Monday and reach Belagavi at 10.30 am on Tuesdays. The return service (Train 17074) will begin on May 19, departing Belagavi at 1 pm and arriving at Secunderabad at 7.15 am on Wednesdays.
The major halts in Telangana such as Begumpet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, and Tandur; transit points including Raichur, Guntakal, and Manthralayam Road; and key Karnataka stations such as Ballari, Hosapete, Gadag, Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa Junction, and Khanapur.
