SCR Provides Halts At Manikgarh Amid Floods

Continuous rainfall over the past two days disrupted road connectivity between Rajura and Balharshah, forcing large numbers of passengers to rely on rail transport. To ease travel, SCR provided temporary halts for five trains at Manikgarh, enabling more than 400 passengers to continue their journeys to nearby destinations, including Balharshah

HYDERABAD: In view of heavy rainfall and flooding in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district, South Central Railway has taken prompt measures to facilitate passenger movement through Manikgarh Railway Station.

Continuous rainfall over the past two days disrupted road connectivity between Rajura and Balharshah, forcing large numbers of passengers to rely on rail transport. To ease travel, SCR provided temporary halts for five trains at Manikgarh, enabling more than 400 passengers to continue their journeys to nearby destinations, including Balharshah.

Railway staff at Manikgarh extended assistance by ensuring smooth ticketing, passenger guidance, seamless boarding and supervision of on-ground operations, with all necessary arrangements in place for passenger convenience and safety.
