SCR GM Reviews Development Works At Mahabubabad Station
At Mahabubabad station, Srivastava participated in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ programme: Reports

MAHABUBABAD: South Central Railway (SCR) general manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava inspected Mahabubabad railway station on Friday and reviewed ongoing development works.
Travelling by a special train from Kacheguda to Warangal, he conducted a rear-window inspection of the section, reviewing signal visibility, overhead traction systems, track condition, sectional caution orders and train speeds.
At Mahabubabad station, Srivastava participated in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ programme and administered the cleanliness pledge to railway officials and staff. He also planted saplings on the station premises.
He inspected redevelopment works being undertaken under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and sought details from officials on their progress.
Mahabubabad MLA Dr Murali Naik Bhukya met the SCR general manager and discussed railway development issues concerning the constituency. Srivastava later briefed the media on ongoing railway works in the region.
The general manager subsequently inspected Track Relaying Train (TRT) works between Mahabubabad and Tadlapusapalli stations. Officials explained that the machine enables the removal of old rails and sleepers, ballast correction, and the laying of new sleepers and rails through a single mechanised process.
The use of the TRT is expected to accelerate track renewal while reducing disruption to train operations, manual intervention and the need for conventional cranes.
