Scores Pay Respects to Khamenei at Iranian Consulate

Scores of people paid their last respects to departed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Prominent leaders and mourners expressed their sympathies in the condolence book, which will remain open till Friday evening. Deputy Consul General of the Iranian Consulate Mohsen Moghaddam received the visitors, who conveyed their condolences.

Recently, the MBT organised a protest rally from Chanchalguda to Darulshifa Ground in Hyderabad, followed by a large public meeting to express solidarity with the people of Iran and to pay tributes to the legacy of Ayatollah Khamenei.
Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Telangana Zone, expressed heartfelt condolences to the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran following the assassination of Imam Khamenei in the recent attacks by the US and Israel.
A team led by state president of SIO Mohd Faraz Ahmed also met the Deputy Consul General. “The recent attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran, including the killing of hundreds of schoolchildren, show a serious violation of international norms and diplomatic frameworks. Such actions show an imperialist approach and undermine national sovereignty as well as threaten regional stability,” the leaders emphasised.
