Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has announced a Dasara bonus for the Singareni workers. It allocated 34 percent of the profits made by the company as a bonus to workers. With this, each worker will receive a bonus of Rs.1,51,912. A bonus of Rs.5,500 will be given to contract workers.
Singareni has earned a total profit of Rs 1,754 crore. Of this, 34 percent will be allocated as a bonus to workers. This bonus will be given to workers working in the company on the occasion of Dasara festival, according to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka here on Tuesday.
Several key decisions have been taken on various issues related to Singareni workers. It was revealed that job appointment documents will be issued to dependent candidates soon.
Referring to the compassionate appointment process, he said the pending 300 compassionate appointments will be completed within 15 days. As part of the welfare of Singareni workers, focus will be laid on the construction of housing colonies. It has been decided to build colonies in areas where there are no mining activities. It is planned to make houses with modern facilities available to workers.
