Telangana SC and ST Commission chairman Bakki Venkataiah on Wednesday visited the IIIT Basar campus in Nirmal district and reviewed facilities and conditions for students.
ADILABAD: Telangana SC and ST Commission chairman Bakki Venkataiah on Wednesday visited the IIIT Basar campus in Nirmal district and reviewed facilities and conditions for students.
During the visit, he instructed authorities, led by vice chancellor A. Govardhan, to ensure quality food and safe drinking water, and not to compromise on standards in education and student welfare.
He said the administration must create an environment conducive for students to excel in their studies.
Commission members Kusram Neela Devi and Rambabu Naik, district collector Bhavesh Mishra, ASP Saikiran, DSP Ramaiah and SC and ST cell convener Ajay Kumar were present.
