HYDERABAD: The Supreme Court on Monday deferred the hearing on the Kancha Gachibowli land issue to November 16, following a request by the state government seeking four weeks’ time to file an additional affidavit. However, the court granted only three weeks’ time
Karanam Shravan Kumar, who appeared for the state government, sought time to file the additional affidavit to defend the state`s version as that land does not fall in the forest area
Earlier, the Supreme Court had registered the suo motu following large-scale tree felling across 400 acres of land in Kancha Gachibowli without requisite permissions.
