The four police personnel were collecting bribes from motorists during drunken driving checking at Journalists Colony in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar transferred Jubilee Hills Traffic Inspector Narsing Rao, Sub-Inspector Ashok and Home Guard Keshavulu on charges of collecting bribes from the motorists who are yet to clear their pending challan. A court constable Sudhakar was also transferred on similar charges.
These police personnel were found to be collecting bribes from motorists during drunken driving checking at Journalists Colony in Jubilee Hills. The Home Guard was collecting bribes from the motorists and asking them to drop Rs.500 in the auto trolley.
However, an unidentified person captured the image and circulated it in the media. After the media highlighted the entire episode, the department transferred them.
