RTC Buses, Metro Rail, Autos, Cabs On MeeTicket App
TGSRTC has revamped its MeeTicket app to offer integrated booking for RTC buses, Metro Rail, autorickshaws and cabs on a single platform.
TGSRTC on Monday revamped its MeeTicket app to integrate RTC bus and Metro Rail ticketing with cab and autorickshaw booking services on a single platform. The app earlier offered only TGSRTC-related ticketing services.
According to TGSRTC, the revamped app will provide multi-modal travel services by integrating RTC buses, Metro Rail, autorickshaws and cabs. Passengers will be able to book RTC or Metro tickets and simultaneously pre-book an autorickshaw or cab for onward travel through the app.
The system will have a payment mechanism to transfer fares paid by passengers to the respective transport providers or partners. 'MeeTicket' will function as a unified digital platform, allowing autorickshaw and cab drivers and other transport operators to join as partners and provide services to passengers.
Users will be able to select their preferred mode of transport and access the integrated services through a single app, while fares will be remitted to the respective transport providers.
