HYDERABAD: Nacharam's Pedda Cheruvu, also known as Nacharam Cheruvu, has received ₹30.5 crore for its restoration and rejuvenation, according to a statement. HYDRAA will restore the lake under its Phase-II restoration activities
The lake, spread over three acres, was added to HYDRAA’s rejuvenation plans. After taking up the restoration of six lakes in Phase-I, HYDRAA is initiating the restoration activities for 14 more lakes across the city. The dried up Nacharam Cheruvi will undergo extensive work on bund repairs, inlet and outlet gate constructions and water retention works, along with a walking track and park areas around the lake.
