RPO To Release 4,000 Slots For Nov. 21 Passport Mela

The Regional Passport Office will be holding a passport mela on November 21. The appointments will be released on Tuesday, November3, for all the three categories of services — normal, Tatkal and PCC (police clearance certificate). The RPO considered the increasing demand for passport services and waiting period for appointments before announcing the mela. Around 4,000 appointments would be released for applicants across all Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) and post office PSKs under the jurisdiction of RPO, Hyderabad, a statement said.

Corrigendum: The headline of our November 2 report incorrectly referred to 4,000 passport appointment slots as “jobs”. We regret the error.
