Notorious rowdy sheeter killed by rival gang

When Riazuddin tried to escape, the assailants stabbed him seven times, Balapur police said

HYDERABAD: A 36-year-old rowdysheeter, Khaja Riazuddin, was chased, gunned down and stabbed to death by unidentified assailants on RCI Road, Balapur just past midnight on Friday.

The assailants rammed their car against Riazuddin’s two-wheeler from the rear. When he fell to the ground, they threw chilli powder on his face and opened three rounds of fire.

When Riazuddin tried to escape, the assailants stabbed him seven times, Balapur police said.

Police suspect that more than four assailants were following Riazuddin after he had consumed liquor at his friend’s house in Balapur and was heading towards Shivaji Chowk. The victim’s elder brother Khaja Sirajuddin spotted Riazuddin while returning home from LB Nagar. Siraj rushed Riazuddin to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

It is reported that the accused have been identified and detained by the special teams through their car number Balapur police suspect that previous enmity could be the motive behind the murder.
