RIMS Asked to Provide Help Desk Assistance to Tribal Patients

Several patients come to the hospital from agency areas. Several of them are being referred from there to Nizamabad and Hyderabad.

Adilabad:Adilabad MP Godam Nagesh and Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju, on Tuesday, advised the RIMS director to keep its help desk staff available round the clock, to render services to the tribal patients and provide them treatment without delay.

Several patients come to the hospital from agency areas. Several of them are being referred from there to Nizamabad and Hyderabad.

The MLA, MP, and district collector inaugurated the modern equipment at the RIMS. Later, they participated in the RIMS development meeting.

Vedma Bojju asked the district medical officials to ensure that pregnant women deliver at Utnoor itself rather than referring them to other hospitals. He also called for the construction of a mortuary.

MP Godam Nagesh asked the medical authorities to put modern equipment into operation to detect the status of the mother and child and the health condition of pregnant women at RIMS.

The committee approved proposals worth `6.33 crore for development of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. Collector Rajarshi Shah, RIMS director Rathod Jai Singh, deputy medical superintendent Dr Deepak Pushkar, and heads of different departments were present.
