Hyderabad: Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has recorded a steady growth in number of passengers with 27 lakh flyers using the facility in December 2024. This is a 17.8 per cent increase, compared to December 2023 when there were 23 lakh passengers, according to a statement.
In November 2024, the airport handled 25.3 lakh passengers. The December 2024 passengers data reflected a near-seven per cent growth over the previous month.
The consistent growth shows Hyderabad’s rising connectivity, both domestically and internationally, as well as an uptick in festive and holiday travellers.
