Revised Market Value of Land From May 28
Though the government did not make a formal announcement on the revised land market values, official sources said the Chief Minister assured ministers that another meeting would be convened within the next two or three days to finalise the revised rates.

Hyderabad:The revised market value of land in Telangana will come into force from May 28 as announced earlier by the state government. The issue figured prominently during the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat on Saturday, official sources said.
Though the government did not make a formal announcement on the revised land market values, official sources said the Chief Minister assured ministers that another meeting would be convened within the next two or three days to finalise the revised rates.
According to sources, ministers expressed differing opinions on the revised market values proposed by the stamps and registration department, leading to extensive discussions in the Cabinet. In view of the divergent views, the Chief Minister reportedly decided to hold another round of deliberations to arrive at a consensus on the revised values before issuing the final orders.
Sources said the Chief Minister made it clear during the meeting that the revised market values would be implemented from May 28 without any postponement, in line with the government’s earlier announcement. The revision of market values is expected to impact property registrations across the state, with registration charges likely to increase following the implementation of the new rates.
