Revenue, Registration, Survey To Be Clubbed In 2026, Says Ponguleti
“The integrated digital system, which will be rolled out in January 2026, will allow farmers and agricultural landowners to access comprehensive land ownership details with a single click”: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy

HYDERABAD: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday announced that the revenue, registration and survey departments would be brought under a unified framework and seamlessly integrated with the Bhu Bharati portal to ensure transparent, faster and citizen-friendly land administration.
“The integrated digital system, which will be rolled out in January 2026, will allow farmers and agricultural landowners to access comprehensive land ownership details with a single click,” he said.
The minister made these remarks after conducting a surprise inspection of the office of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) at Nampally, followed by a review meeting with senior officials of the concerned departments. He said the objective of the reform was to eliminate inconsistencies across departments and provide end-to-end land-related services through a single platform.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the functioning of the CCLA office, Srinivas Reddy directed officials to modernise the premises on corporate lines and improve efficiency.
He said he would conduct another inspection next month and expected visible improvements by then. Department-wise reviews would be taken up regularly, and officials were asked to be fully prepared with updated information.
The minister pointed out that land acquired by the government decades ago for various purposes still remained in the names of private individuals in some records. He instructed officials to rectify such anomalies and update the records accordingly. A comprehensive review would also be undertaken of assigned land and Bhoodan land parcels.
In addition, Srinivas Reddy said, vigilance cases pending against employees for several years would be reviewed to assess the reasons for delay and their legal status. All court cases relating to land administration would be examined thoroughly, he added.
Srinivas Reddy also directed officials to design a standard model for the proposed tahsildar (MRO) offices to ensure uniformity and better public access.
Explaining the features of the upgraded Bhu Bharati portal, the minister said it would provide integrated information related to registration, mutation, market value, village maps, survey-number-wise maps, nala orders, Records of Rights, village sketches and feedback mechanisms. Login through Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers would enable users to instantly access the required details. To facilitate hassle-free transactions for buyers and sellers, the process of preparing survey-number-wise maps would be initiated shortly.
The meeting was attended by revenue secretary D.S. Lokesh Kumar, Inspector General of Stamps and Registrations Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, CCLA in-charge Secretary Mandha Makarand, and officials from the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
