Revanth's Musi Project A Cover For Massive Corruption: KTR
In a statement, Rama Rao said the Chief Minister said in the Assembly that the detailed project report (DPR) would take at least another year to be prepared. “If the DPR is not ready, how was the massive estimate of Rs 1.5 lakh crore for the project announced,” he asked

HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of spreading falsehoods in the Assembly on the Musi river rejuvenation project and using it “as a cover for the biggest corruption conspiracy in Telangana’s history.”
In a statement, Rama Rao said the Chief Minister said in the Assembly that the detailed project report (DPR) would take at least another year to be prepared. “If the DPR is not ready, how was the massive estimate of Rs 1.5 lakh crore for the project announced,” he asked
He said that the Congress government was preparing for a massive financial loot under the guise of the project, and questioned how key aspects of the project were being handed to Mainhardt, a company allegedly blacklisted and facing Red Corner Notices. “How can a firm with such a background be entrusted with a project of this scale,” he asked, calling it a deliberate conspiracy to facilitate corruption.
The Congress and Telugu Desam governments that ruled for 60 years were responsible turning the Musi into a sewage drain, Rama Rao said. Revanth Reddy served in both parties and now cannot disown their legacy, he said.
The BRS leader said the Chief Minister “has no vision whatsoever to cleanse the Musi,” and that “driven by anger against those questioning his alleged illegal wealth and opposing the Musi project in its present form,” Revanth Reddy had “poison running through his every nerve.”
