Revanth Waits in Helicopter for 15 Mins After Helipad Confusion
Subsequently, the Chief Minister proceeded with the programme and participated in temple rituals after laying foundation stones for development works.

Nalgonda: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday remained in his helicopter for about 15 minutes after landing at the helipad on Peddagutta in Yadagirigutta, as no officials were present to receive him.
The situation was reportedly caused by lack of coordination among officials over the designated landing point. Two helipads had been arranged for the Chief Minister’s visit — one at Peddagutta and another at the foothill. MLAs and officials were waiting at the helipad at the foothill, while the Chief Minister’s helicopter landed at Peddagutta.
With no reception at the site, the Chief Minister waited in the helicopter until protocol officers and elected representatives reached the Peddagutta helipad.
Sources said the issue arose due to circulation of two separate schedules for the visit. One schedule stated that the Chief Minister would arrive at Peddagutta helipad at 9.15 am and then visit the Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple after laying foundation stones for development works. Another schedule indicated arrival at 8.30 am, followed by temple puja before the foundation stone ceremony.
Following the confusion, officials and public representatives remained at the foothill helipad, leading to the delay at Peddagutta. The incident caused concern among officials until the reception team reached the correct location.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister proceeded with the programme and participated in temple rituals after laying foundation stones for development works.
Sources said senior officials have taken note of the incident and ordered an inquiry.
