Revanth Sets Nov 20 Deadline For Skills University Campus Ahead Of Global Investment Summit

Revanth Reddy sets a November 20 deadline for completing the Young India Skills University campus, which will host the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has set November 20 as the deadline for completing work on the Young India Skills University (YIKU) campus at Bharat Future City, venue of the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 from December 7 to 9. More than 2,000 international delegates, including CEOs of global companies, are expected to attend the summit.

Construction of nine seminar halls and 13 meeting halls is nearing completion. Revanth Reddy, who inspected the campus on October 19, directed officials to use the university building as the summit venue.

Unlike last year's Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, for which temporary structures were erected at Bharat Future City, the government has opted for permanent facilities this time. The seminar and meeting halls will be retained by the university for academic activities after the event, avoiding expenditure on temporary infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju reviewed summit publicity and arrangements. After taking stock of invitations to industrialists, investors and prominent delegates from India and abroad, he directed officials to step up publicity through hoardings at key locations and junctions in Hyderabad and campaigns across the State.

He also called for public participation through a 10K Run, sporting events and other outreach programmes to generate awareness. All departments should coordinate to showcase Telangana's investment opportunities, investor-friendly ecosystem and infrastructure strengths to national and international audiences, he said.

Special Chief Secretary Navin Mittal, IT joint secretary Anudeep Durishetty, industries secretary Krishna Aditya, Invest Telangana CEO B. Ajith Reddy, and senior officials attended the meeting.
