Revanth Reddy Unveils New Logos for CMC, MMC and GHMC
The Chief Minister released the logos before inaugurating the newly constructed bridge at Moosarambagh to connect Malakpet and Dilsukhnagar
Hyderabad: The three-way split of Hyderabad’s civic administration got a visible marker on Monday, with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy unveiling new logos for the GHMC, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) during the inauguration of the Moosarambagh bridge.
GHMC has reportedly got a new logo after about 10 years. The three corporations will use separate logos across their official communications and public-facing activities.
The CMC said on its official social media account that its logo represented care, sustainability, growth and the spirit of Cyberabad, and described it as the corporation’s new identity. The MMC commissioner’s office said its emblem represents inclusive development, efficient governance, sustainable growth and citizen-centric public service. These are the corporations’ own descriptions of the designs.
The unveiling came after the government recently reorganised the erstwhile GHMC into three corporations. GHMC now has six zones, 30 circles and 150 divisions; CMC has three zones, 16 circles and 76 divisions; and MMC has three zones, 14 circles and 74 divisions.
He released these logos before inaugurating the newly constructed bridge at Moosarambagh to connect Malakpet and Dilsukhnagar.
Along with these, a revamped logo for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) was also released.
