Revanth Reddy Reviews Revenue Mobilisation, Warns Against Leakages

CM directs departments to strengthen capacity, prioritise land acquisition and ensure strict monitoring

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday conducted a high-level review on revenue mobilisation with senior officials and issued key directions to various departments.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed departments including HMDA, TGIIC, Commercial Taxes, Excise, and Mining to ensure there are no leakages in revenue collection. He emphasised the need for strict vigilance and accountability in financial management.

Reddy also directed officials to establish a dedicated “chasing cell” to ensure continuous follow-up and monitoring of revenue-related matters. He stressed that departments must enhance their efficiency and improve performance to boost overall revenue.

Highlighting the importance of infrastructure and development, the Chief Minister said land acquisition should be treated as a top priority. He assured full support from the government to all departments in achieving their targets.

Making his stance clear, Reddy warned that negligence in revenue generation and fund mobilisation would not be tolerated.
