Revanth Reddy Orders High Vigil amid Rain Threat

The Chief Minister directed officials to make additional arrangements at paddy procurement centres and instructed them to speed up paddy procurement operations

Hyderabad: In view of an orange alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for several districts, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy alerted officials to remain vigilant over the rain situation.

The Chief Minister directed officials to make additional arrangements at paddy procurement centres and instructed them to speed up paddy procurement operations. He emphasized that adequate tarpaulins should be kept ready to prevent the paddy stored in procurement yards from getting wet.

He also ordered officials to shift tarpaulins from centres where procurement has already been completed. Keeping in view the weather department’s warning of strong gusty winds, the Chief Minister advised people to remain cautious and alert.
