Revanth Reddy Hails Telangana Police for Topping National Meet

Telangana police personnel bagged six gold medals, the highest, at the meet, followed by AP with four, Tamil Nadu two and one each for Himachal Pradesh, ITBH, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday congratulated the Telangana police team that stood first in terms of gold medals and topped the medals tally at the All India Police Duty Meet in Delhi, a competition on policing skills and competency.

Telangana police personnel bagged six gold medals, the highest, at the meet, followed by AP with four, Tamil Nadu two and one each for Himachal Pradesh, ITBH, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.

The Telangana team also topped with four silver medals and eight bronzes, leading to a table-topping 18 medals overall.

Competitions were held in subjects like crime investigation, criminal laws, rules; handling exhibits; forensic science; fingerprint praticals; medico-legal; crime photography, among others.
