Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has described the transformation of traditional Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into Advanced Training Centres (ATCs) as a significant achievement of the state government.
Emphasising the need to adapt to changing times, the Chief Minister said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to equipping youth with advanced and industry-relevant skills to secure a brighter future.
He noted that moving away from outdated training models and adopting a forward-looking approach has begun to yield positive results. Students trained under the upgraded system, he said, are already securing employment and livelihood opportunities within the very first year, which he termed as a commendable outcome.
The Chief Minister added that the initiative is aimed at aligning skill development with evolving industry demands, ensuring that young people are better prepared for the job market and future challenges.
