Revanth Reddy Govt. Completes 1,000 Days, Marks Milestone in Governance, Development

Under the visionary leadership of Revanth Reddy, the People's Government wrote a new chapter in Telangana history by overhauling the administration, aiming to fulfil the people's aspirations, giving priority to social justice, instilling confidence among farmers, women, and the youth, attracting massive investments to the state, and building world-class infrastructure for a bright future for Telangana.

Economic Growth– Strengthening Telangana

The Telangana State's Per Capita Income increased to ₹4,18,931 in 2025-26, which is approximately 91 per cent higher than the national per capita income.

In a move to bolster the state economy, the government succeeded in attracting significant investment, creating jobs, and developing infrastructure and the technology sector. A slew of bold initiatives were undertaken to strengthen the state's finances while continuing numerous welfare measures.

The collective progress and the development of the state are a testament to the active participation of farmers, women, youth, workers, employees, officials, entrepreneurs, and the general public.

Telangana Ranks Number One in Agriculture - A Pillar of Support for Farmers

The People's Government waived farm loans up to ₹2 lakh, unmatched anywhere else in the country. The farm loan waiver scheme relieved over 25 lakh farming families from the mounting debt burden.

Over ₹36,000 crore investment support was provided under the 'Rythu Bharosa' scheme. Nearly ₹9,000 crore was credited in a single phase over just 9 days.

A bonus of ₹500 per quintal for fine-variety paddy, continuous assurance through free electricity for agriculture and farmer insurance were part of the welfare of the farming community.

The state government spent approximately Rs 1.68 lakh crore on agriculture and farmer welfare over the past 32 months.

In a major achievement, the Telangana State surpassed Punjab to become the country's leader in paddy cultivation and production, setting a new record by procuring 81.12 lakh metric tonnes of grain during the last Yasangi (rabi) season. The government is fighting an uncompromising struggle for Telangana's rightful share of Krishna and Godavari waters.

Special thanks to the farmers who understood challenging situations, such as the urea shortage and cooperated with the government.

A New Chapter in Women's Empowerment

Free travel for women on RTC buses was being implemented under the Mahalakshmi scheme. Over 335 crore free trips were taken, resulting in travel cost savings of nearly ₹11,000 crore for women.

Free electricity up to 200 units for over 53 lakh families under the Gruha Jyothi scheme. Domestic LPG cylinders provided for ₹500 to 43 lakh families.

Loans worth ₹60,487 crore were extended via bank linkages to 4.54 lakh women's groups in the state, along with an interest subsidy of ₹1,900 crore.

New business opportunities were created for women's groups, which included stitching of school uniforms and sarees, operation of petrol bunks and RTC buses. The government is striving to transform women into key partners in Telangana's economic progress, intending to make ten million women 'crorepatis' (millionaires).

Food Security - Assurance to Every Poor Family

Ending the years of waiting, over 1.5 million (15 lakh) new ration cards have already been issued. Food security is provided to approximately 33.8 million (3.38 crore) people through the Public Distribution System.

Telangana sets a new national benchmark by distributing high-quality fine rice to ration cardholders. Distribution of smart ration cards to make the Public Distribution System (PDS) more transparent and accessible.

Social security measures strengthened by sanctioning of new pensions for 225,000 (2.25 lakh) people.

The state government is providing social security pensions to a total of over 4.3 million (43 lakh) beneficiaries, including the elderly, widows, persons with disabilities, and other eligible individuals.

Indiramma Houses - Fulfilling the Dream of Owning a House for the Poor

As many as 4.50 lakh Indiramma houses were constructed in the first phase. Financial assistance of ₹5 lakh per eligible family for house construction is being provided to the beneficiary.

Special priority was given to tribal communities - Chenchu tribe and extremely backward families. A massive plan was envisaged to construct 1 lakh Indiramma housing units (in multi-story towers) within the Hyderabad urban limits.

Social Justice - Historical Decisions

The State Government conducted a comprehensive state-wide survey covering social, economic, educational, employment, political, and caste aspects to study the socio-economic status of different castes.

Following the Supreme Court verdict, Telangana became the first state in the country to implement SC sub-categorisation by classifying 59 SC sub-castes into three distinct groups. The state Legislative Assembly approved bills providing 42 per cent reservation for BCs in education, employment, and politics.

Introduced revision of minimum wages pending for 12 years, aiming to benefit 1.11 crore workers.

Special legislation brought into force to provide legal recognition, a welfare board, and social security for Gig workers.

Revolutionary Reforms in Education - New Look to Government Schools

Telangana advanced from 28th to the 18th position in the Performance Grading Index announced by the Central Government.

'Young India Integrated Residential Schools' to be established in every constituency; 105 schools were already sanctioned.

Introduced pre-primary classes in government schools. Accorded public education a new identity through 'Telangana Public Schools'.

For providing breakfast, milk, and nutritious food to over 22 lakh students (from pre-primary to Intermediate levels), the State Government allocated ₹720 crore. Around 40 per cent hike in diet charges and 212 per cent increase in cosmetic charges for welfare hostels.

Recruitment of 10,006 teachers through the 'Mega DSC'

Scholarships and fee reimbursements for approximately 11 lakh students was provided and allocated ₹1,000 crore to Osmania University.

Jobs for Youth - A New Platform for Skill Development

Over 72,000 government job appointments were made within the first 1,000 days of the people's government. Completed important recruitment drives from Group-1 to DSC.

Notifications issued for filling another 456 posts through TGPSC and 7,437 posts through the Police Recruitment Board.

At Young India Skills University, 1,190 individuals completed their training at Young India Skill University. 838 of them secured jobs in prominent organisations.

Upgraded 65 government ITIs and 57 polytechnic colleges into Advanced Technology Centres. Charting a new course for the sports sector through the Young India Physical Education and Sports University and the Gachibowli Sports District.

Massive Expansion of Healthcare - Support for the Poor through CMRF

Rajiv Arogya Sri coverage limit increased from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh. Construction of a new 2,000-bed Osmania Hospital in Goshamahal at a cost of ₹2,700 crore is under progress. Three TIMS super-speciality hospitals in Sanathnagar, Alwal, and LB Nagar.

Nine new government medical colleges and construction of another 17 colleges are underway. NIMS achieved a milestone of 2,000 kidney transplant surgeries.

Financial assistance of ₹2,526.12 crore was provided to 5,18,186 people through the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) between December 7, 2023, and August 12, 2026.

₹1,635.34 crore provided medical reimbursement to 4,78,789 Around poor patients through CMRF. Letters of Credit (LoCs) worth Rs 798.41 crore was given for 39,712 people.

Crackdown on Food Adulteration - Introduces "TGSAFE"

The State government Intensified Inspections, sample testing and took stringent measures against food adulteration. It established new 'TG Safe' agency to comprehensively tackle the threats of food adulteration and drugs.

Consolidating food and drug control under a single system, strengthened by dedicated legal, laboratory, and enforcement wings. Widespread raids and strict legal action were carried out against those who jeopardise public health.

Persistent Fight against Drugs- Accountability to Educational Institutions

A special campaign against drugs through the 'Eagle' system was launched and specialised policing for cybercrimes and the safety of women and children introduced.

Initiatives were taken to make anti-drug and safety committees mandatory in schools, colleges, and universities. Appointment of campus coordinators and spotters in every educational institution, reporting suspicious behavioural changes among students to the Education Department and the police, is also mandatory.

Suspension of recognition against educational institutions which are negligent regarding student safety were also initiated.

Dedicated System for Traffic and Road Safety

A new 'TG Traffic Management and Road Safety Bureau' is being established to address the increasing vehicular traffic challenges in urban areas and minimise accidents on highways and the Outer Ring Road. The specialised system will be equipped with adequate funds and modern facilities to handle urban traffic management, highway patrolling, and accident prevention.

The primary objective is to ensure smooth and safe travel for the public.

Brings Governance at People's Doorsteps - Praja Vani at Mandal Level

Following the success of 'Praja Vani' (public grievance redressal) programmes at the state, district, and division levels, the initiative is being extended to all MPDO offices to resolve public grievances locally within the mandal.

Mandal-level officials will be available at a single location every Monday to address and resolve petitions. The initiative reduced the need for people to travel to district or state levels for minor issues.

An online 'Praja Vani' (Public Grievance) portal is coming soon, enabling the online submission of petitions from any part of the state.

A dedicated dashboard was created to track the progress of grievance resolution and continuous monitoring by the Chief Minister and the Chief Minister's Office.

Conducted 12,758 Gram Sabhas and 3,175 Ward Sabhas as part of the 99-day 'Praja Palana – Pragathi' (People's Governance – Progress) plan.

Land Administration - Assurance to Employees - Digital Governance

The State Government introduced the 'Bhu-Bharati' Act, 'Bhu-Dhar', and AI-based 'Bhu-Mitra' services and issued 3.76 lakh new pattadar passbooks.

Fiscal discipline ensured to provide salaries to government, contract, and outsourcing employees on the 1st of every month. Paid ₹600 crore in dues to retired employees—accumulated over several years—within a span of 100 days.

Implementation of Employee Health Scheme started to ensure healthcare security for employees and pensioners. Special appreciation to the employees and officials playing an important role in increasing state revenues and delivering welfare schemes to the last beneficiary.

The government started 100 per cent implementation of the 'e-Office' system across 36 Secretariat departments and established the country's first fully digital cabinet with over 581 government services on WhatsApp.

Curbs Revenue Leakages - Special Enforcement Wings

The Telangana Government established special enforcement wings within the Vigilance and Civil Supplies departments to plug leakages in generating revenue to the government. Special measures were also started to identify and curb revenue losses and tax evasion in Civil Supplies, Mines and Minerals, and GST.

The government's main objective is to boost state revenue and utilise the generated resources for public welfare and development.

World Class Infrastructure

A Regional Ring Road (RRR) spanning approximately 360 kilometres around Hyderabad is under progress. Finalised plans for 6,092 kilometres of HAM (Hybrid Annuity Model) roads across the state. Expansion of the Hyderabad Metro by 122.9 kilometres across seven corridors under Phase II is underway.

Development of Mamnoor Airport and the Adilabad airstrip. Comprehensive development of a 55-kilometre stretch as part of the Musi rejuvenation project; 39 new STPs. Plan to divert 2.5 TMC of fresh water from the Godavari to the Musi.

Telangana - The Most Favourite Investment Destination

Telangana achieved a top position in key sectors under the Business Reforms Action Plan. Investments worth ₹1.29 lakh crore secured through TG-iPASS. Investment agreements worth ₹5.75 lakh crore signed at the 'Telangana Rising Global Summit–2025'.

Investments worth ₹92,281 crore in TSIIC lands. Paving the way for over 78,000 job opportunities. Special gratitude from the people's government to domestic and international entrepreneurs investing with confidence in Telangana.

Telangana Moving Fast in IT, AI & Global Capability Centers ( GCCCs)

Telangana's IT exports projected at ₹3.97 lakh crore for 2025-26 and 12.14 lakh direct IT jobs. Over 355 Global Capability Centres in Hyderabad. 40 new centres selected in Hyderabad in 2026 alone.

Telangana is among the fastest-growing destinations in the country for data centres, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. An additional investment of $7 billion from Amazon got for Telangana. Establishment of the country's first state-level AI data exchange—TG-DEX.

Tourism - New Recognition for Telangana Culture

The first comprehensive tourism policy (2025) was introduced since the state's formation. Investments worth ₹23,174 crore secured in the very first year, against a five-year target of ₹15,000 crore.

Telangana ranks first in the country for establishing 'Yuva Tourism Clubs'. Official recognition accorded to the 'Jaya Jayahe Telangana' as the state song and unveiled 'Telangana Thalli' statues. A special committee constituted to identify and accord due recognition to Telangana movement activists.

Telangana Rising -2047: A Grand Vision. Big Goals after 1000 Days of Governance

Building the Telangana of the future upon the foundations of welfare, development, and social justice laid during the 1,000 days of people-centric governance.

The state government set the goal to transform Telangana into a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

Holistic development—extending from Hyderabad to rural Telangana—through CURE, PURE and RARE development corridors was taken up apart from developing the prestigious 'Bharat Future City' as the country's first net-zero smart city.

Laying strong foundations for the future of Telangana through initiatives such as the AICity, data centres, the Regional Ring Road, Metro Phase-II, the Musi River rejuvenation project, the Young India Skills University, and a Sports University.
