CM orders officials to coordinate with MEA, Indian Embassy as reports suggest Telugu tourists among victims

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed deep shock over reports that some tourists from the Telugu states may have died in a boat accident in Vietnam.

Following reports of the incident near Phu Quoc Island, the Chief Minister immediately alerted officials and directed them to gather complete details about the mishap.

He instructed the Chief Secretary to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and officials at the Indian Embassy in Vietnam to ensure that necessary assistance and rescue efforts are expedited.

In view of preliminary information suggesting that Telugu tourists may be among those affected, the Chief Minister asked officials to verify details and extend all possible support.

He also directed that adequate medical assistance be ensured for those injured in the incident. The Chief Minister assured that the state government would stand by the victims and their families during this difficult time.
