Revanth Must Claimed Prove Public Support, Quit and Face Re-Election: Ktr
BRS leader cites panchayat poll wins, accuses Congress of misleading voters

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday challenged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to prove his assertions that Congress enjoyed the support of 66 per cent of the people by resigning and seeking re-election.
“Let us go for by-elections. The people will decide who has the real strength and who has the real percentage,” he said while addressing new sarpanches and ward members backed by the BRS at Sircilla. He also claimed that the Chief Minister had taken a U-turn, saying local polls were fought on local issues and caste and not on the performance of the government.
Rama Rao said the panchayat election results were a clear lesson to the Congress for deceiving farmers, women, and the BC communities. Despite the Congress government allegedly using the police and official machinery to intimidate the opposition, Rama Rao said the BRS won 80 out of 117 panchayats in Sircilla district. “The ‘pink flag’ is flying high because the public trusts our vision over Congress’s conspiracies," he said.
