Revanth conspiring against film industry: Bandi Sanjay Kumar

Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay on Sunday said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s statement in the Assembly were intended to damage the Telugu film industry and defame national award-winning actor Allu Arjun.
In a statement, Sanjay claimed that Revanth Reddy and the AIMIM had deliberately enacted a drama by raising the issue in the Assembly. “It is an intentional attempt to divert the attention of people from the major concerns,” he alleged.
Sanjay pointed out that Allu Arjun had stated that he had visited the Sandhya theatre, where a stampede left a woman dead and her son grieviously injured on December 4, after informing the police.
“It has been a routine practice for film stars for the last 50 years to visit theaters at RTC crossroads,” Sanjay said. “It is also a routine for film fans to arrive in large numbers. “ Despite this, the police failed to make proper security arrangements. “It is a complete failure of the state government,” he said.
The minister said forcing Allu Arjun to stay in jail for the night even after the High Court had given him bail showed how the government had acted in a vindictive manner. He asked the Chief Minister who was responsible for the death of the students in gurukuls due to food poisoning and snake bites.
Sanjay alleged said that a former sarpanch of Chief Minister’s native village Kondareddypalle had stated in his statement that he was dying by suicide due to harassment of Revanth Reddy’s brothers. “Why were Revanth Reddy’s brothers not arrested,” Sanjay asked.
