Revanth Calls for Vigilance in Crop Procurement as Heavy Rains Loom

The Chief Minister emphasized that all necessary measures must be taken to ensure a smooth procurement process without causing any inconvenience or losses to farmers.

Hyderabad: In view of the heavy rain forecast across Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to exercise utmost caution during the procurement of paddy, cotton, and maize.
The Chief Minister emphasized that all necessary measures must be taken to ensure a smooth procurement process without causing any inconvenience or losses to farmers.
Acting on the CM’s directions, Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao will conduct a video conference with District Collectors and senior officials at 5 p.m. today to review preparedness and coordinate necessary actions.
