RERA Halts Jai Vasavi’s project
The order followed several complaints from homebuyers who alleged that, despite collecting large sums during the pre-launch phase, the developer failed to begin construction.

Hyderabad:The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has put Jai Vasavi’s Bliss Heights project at Ghatkesar on hold after finding multiple violations by the developer, R Homes, led by managing director Sudha Rani.
The order followed several complaints from homebuyers who alleged that, despite collecting large sums during the pre-launch phase, the developer failed to begin construction. Nearly two years later, only basic basement work has been carried out.
RERA observed that 10 agreements with buyers were signed even before the project was formally registered, a clear violation of rules. The Authority has now placed the project in abeyance until further orders, barring the developer from marketing, selling or entering into any new agreements.
It also directed the freezing of the project’s bank accounts to prevent misuse of buyers’ money and instructed sub-registrars not to register any fresh sale deeds or agreements linked to the project. The abeyance status will also be displayed on the TG RERA website.
The Authority warned that non-compliance with its directions could attract penalties and asked the developer to submit a detailed response.
