Release Mallanna's Passport, Orders Telangana HC
The court faulted the authorities and questioned them as they did not have humanity. The judge ordered release of his passport.

Hyderabad: A vacation bench of the Telangana High Court headed by Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka on Wednesday directed the Union home ministry and Regional Passport Officer at Hyderabad to release the passport of Chinthapandu Naveen Kumar alias Teenmar Mallanna, MLC and presenter of Q news. Challenging the seizure of his passport by the passport authority on May 14, 2025, he approached the High Court and said authorities are not allowing him to travel abroad for medical treatment of his children. The court faulted the authorities and questioned them as they did not have humanity. The judge ordered release of his passport.
Sravan Rao withdraws bail petition
Sravan Kumar Rao, the businessman earlier linked to the phone-tapping case, on Wednesday withdrew his bail petition before the High Court. He had sought bail in cheating registered against him by the CCS police, who had arrested him. The CCS police registered an FIR on a complaint lodged by Akarsh Krishna, director of Akhand Infratech India Private Ltd, alleging that the accused and his group had cheated his company of more than Rs 6.58 crore in the name of purchasing iron ore.
