Red Cross Society Holds Blood Donation Camp in Nizamabad
In view of Red Cross Day on May 8, the organisers created awareness on blood donation

NIZAMABAD: A blood donation camp was organised at the Indian Red Cross Society on Thursday. District educational officer Parsi Ashok inaugurated the camp and appreciated donors. In view of Red Cross Day on May 8, the organisers had created awareness on blood donation. Reacting to this, the donors, especially women came forward to donate blood.
In the backdrop of blood shortage in the district, the blood donation camp got a good response. Red Cross Nizamabad unit president Busa Anjaneyulu, secretary Thota Rajasekhar, finance secretary Ravinder, Red Cross youth wing president Abbapur Ravi were present. Around 30 government teachers also donated blood on the occasion.
