Real-Time CCTV Surveillance Ensures Transparent NEET-UG Re-Exam in Telangana
Damodar Rajanarsimha directed officials to ensure strict adherence to examination protocols and stated that adequate arrangements had been made to ensure that candidates did not face any inconvenience during the examination.

Hyderabad: A state control room set up jointly by the state government and the National Testing Agency (NTA) oversaw the smooth conduct of the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination on Sunday. Officials monitored the examination centres in real time through CCTV surveillance.
Officials briefed health minister Damodar Rajanarsimha about the measures when he inspected the control room set up at the Directorate of Intermediate Education in Hyderabad. He was accompanied by health secretary Dr Christina Z. Chongthu and Director of Medical Education Dr Narendra Kumar. The minister reviewed the CCTV surveillance-based command and control system that was linked to examination centres across the state.
During the review, the minister held discussions with officials regarding measures taken to conduct the examination in a fair, transparent and secure manner. He directed officials to ensure strict adherence to examination protocols and stated that adequate arrangements had been made to ensure that candidates did not face any inconvenience during the examination.
